two Services, one church
Here, at First United Methodist of Hot Springs, all are welcomed with open arms--and just as you are! Going to church can be intimidating. We want to make you feel welcomed and comfortable at First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Hot Springs, whether you are in your fresh-from-the-lake attire or your Sunday best. We offer two different styles of worship in order to reach the range
of musical and worship tastes.
Traditional Services
Traditional worship services are held in the sanctuary at 9:00 am and 11:00 am on Sunday. Traditional organ and piano music, hymns, liturgy, and a sermon are presented in a classic Methodist style.
The Connexion Service
The ConneXion service is a contemporary worship service held in the Christian Life Center at 9:00 am on Sunday. The ConneXion Praise Team (consisting of vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and keyboard) creates an uplifting and modern atmosphere in worship.
